Psalm 25:4- Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths.
In 1996, GPS was introduced in cars. During World War II, GPS was used to help with the navigation of ships and planes at a long range. GPS, also known as Global Positioning System, is used by many people today to help them get from one destination to other. GPS can be accessed in many ways, from a mobile phone to even a car. GPS helps to show you the way to where you want to go. God is similar to a GPS, showing us the right way to go, leading us to where He wants us to be. It may seem right to follow the paths everyone else is taking, but just because everyone else is following it does not mean it's right. God wants us to follow His path, letting Him show us the way we should go. For the best direction in life, look no further than to the best director of all, God himself. Ask him to guide you to where He wants you to go. Follow His ways, for they are "loving and faithful"(Psalm 25:10).

Whether it is a water park, a swimming pool area, or a beach, there is usually a lifeguard present. The lifeguard's job is to watch over those that are present in the water. A lifeguard must always be alert, ready to take action if there is an emergency. If a swimmer ends up in trouble, like struggling to stay afloat in the water, the lifeguard must be quick to rescue the struggling swimmer so he or she does not drown.
We all face troubles in our lives. Sometimes, life gets tough. David faced troubles when he fell in the hands of his enemies. In 2 Samuel, David went with his men to war against the Philistines, who were planning to kill David. God was able to rescue David from his enemies. David praised God for rescuing him, saying, "He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters" (2 Samuel 22:17), The same God that rescued David from his enemies can reach you where you are. When you feel as if you are drowning in the deep waters of this life, call on Him, for He is able to rescue you. New York City is one of the most populated cities in the United States. Home to the Statue of Liberty and Times Square, New York City is a city that never sleeps. No matter where you turn, there are always people on the move. Day and night, New York City's sidewalks are always flooded with people with different motives and plans for the day.
Our lives are always on the move. Many of us have different schedules that keep us quite busy. Every day comes with a different agenda, whether it's getting ready for work, attending school, or engaging in social activities. By the time you know it, the day is over. Thankfully, God does not have a busy schedule like we do. No matter the time or day, God is always available. He never slumbers or sleeps (Psalm 121:4). He is always on the move, touching hearts and changing lives. God is always at work. Just as God is always available, we should make ourselves available to spend time with Him, no matter how busy our schedules may seem. James 1:12- Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
Many amusement parks are well-known for their roller-coasters. Montu, a popular roller-coaster, ranks #3 on Entertainment Designer's list of "10 Most Insane Loop-the-Loop Roller-Coasters." Located at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida, this roller-coaster has seven loops, with many twists and turns that the rider may not expect. Life is like a roller-coaster. It has its ups, but it also has its downs. Life gets tough at times. Sometimes, things happen to us that we would've never expected. Sometimes, we get stressed and frustrated. You may be thinking, "Things will never get better. There's no way out of this situation." With God, there is always a way. With God, things will get better. God will make a way when it seems as if there is no way out. The situation you may be facing right now may look impossible to overcome, but with God, everything is possible. God only gives us what He knows we can handle. I may not know what you are going through right now, but I can assure you this: God is faithful. God is greater and much bigger than the situation you are in right now. Why stress about it when you can hand it over to God? Give it to Him, and he will turn around that situation for your good and for His glory. Leave it in His hands, and He'll take care of it. Trust in the One who moves moves mountains that may seem impossible to move. God did not promise that we would never encounter trials, but He has promised to never leave us on our own (Hebrews 13:5). Keep pushing through, and you'll receive the "crown of life." His grace will carry you through and make you stronger than ever before. |
